The hidden half of domestic violence
I Can't Even Walk
My friend, as I seat here once again,
I am amazed at what the LORD
has done through SM. Many things have been running through my mind.
Things such as the evil we see going on in the Gulf Coast area. When
I think of the fact that search and rescuse had to be stopped to
prevent looting, it brings me to tears because lives can and are
being lost because of greed. It was not the looting of food that
called it to a halt, it was just pure greed. Even the police helped
people get essentials. I can understand the frustration of the
authorities there...the police and paramedics and others. The need
is so great...and the resources are so few. Then I stop to think
that this is just what GOD is telling US. He tells us the fields are
ripe unto harvest but the labourers are few...folks...that be YOU and
ME! WE are the labourers who are suppose to bring this harvest
in...are we doing it?? WE are the ones that are suppose to rescuse
the dying. Are we doing it? They can not do it alone! They need
help in finding the MASTER!
When my son was learning to walk, he would take me by the hand
and "walk" across the living room to mom. He was grinning from ear
to ear as if to say...look at me mom...I am walking but when I let
go, he would wobble then be on his knees once again. He could not
walk without holding my hand.
My friend, I can not walk without holding HIS hand! IF Jesus were
not here. I would delete this group in a moment because we could do
NOTHING.
I thought number one would surely be me,
I thought I could be what I wanted to be.
I thought I could build on life's sinking sand
But I can't even walk without You holding my hand.
Chorus
I can't even walk without You holding my hand.
The mountain's too high and the valley's too wide.
Down on my knees, I learned to stand.
And I can't even walk without You holding my hand.
I think I'll make Jesus my One and my All
From now on when in trouble, only His name I'll call
And If I can't trust Him, I'll be less of a man
'Cause I can't even walk without You holding my hand.
Chorus
I can't even walk without You holding my hand.
The mountain's too high and the valley's too wide.
Down on my knees, I learned to stand.
And I can't even walk without You holding my hand.
Down on my knees, I learned to stand.
And I can't even walk without You holding my hand.

My friend, is that mountain too high? As Jesus is lifting you up, we
are to push you up too...and together we can shout from this mountain
top...BECAUSE HE LIVES...IF CAN FACE TOMMOROW!
Is that valley too wide? Jesus is there too my friend...bridging the
rivers and the gullys. IF HE can use two boards and three nailes to
build a bridge to heaven...this is small stuff for HIM. Take that
nailed scarred hand my friend...HE will help you across that
valley...and take my hand as we go together...hand in hand....and
share one anothers burdens.
There is no man or woman that stands taller then the one that is down
on their knees...for it is on our knees that we do learn to walk.
The strongest of Christians often is no problem for satan..but what
really scares him my friend....is the weakest of Christians that is
on their knees...for when we are in that postion, he knows the
shepherd is near.
Dear friend, what is even more powerful...is when those that are down
on their knees are interceeding for others...
Precious Lord, take my hand.
Lead me on, let me stand.
I am tired, I am weak, and worn.
Through the storm, through the night,
Lead me on to the light.
Take my hand, precious Lord,
Lead me home
Precious Lord, take my hand for I can't even walk without You holding
my hand
